The Spink project
Our mission :
Spink is a platform for discussion, reflection and exchange dedicated to finding treatment solutions for spinal pathologies.
Three objectives:
- Facilitate exchange among international surgeons who are experts in their fields on future perspectives and developments in surgical techniques for the spine.
- Anticipate research priorities and developments in implants, tools and approaches regarding the spine.
- Stimulate dialogue with surgeons in the search for innovative treatment solutions and information about developments in techniques.
Our philosophy :
Spink is an independent think tank.
As a not-for-profit entity with no commercial pressures, Spink promotes open dialogue and debate among international expert surgeons and the creation of a global community dedicated to the exchange of information for the benefit of the future of spinal surgery.
Subscribers, key contributors, curious onlookers will join to develop constructive and necessary discussion on the treatments of tomorrow, for the benefit of the general interests of both surgeons and patients.
Some of the topics for discussion :
- How to treat paediatric and adolescent malformations (scoliosis)
- The impact and evolution of minimally invasive surgery
- Feedback on and sharing of experiences
- Advantages and disadvantages of robot-supported spinal surgery: what are the key systems?
